This time of year always sees us playing with the dye pots as we can get outside and be messy! We decided to do natural dyeing again as we had so much weld growing in the fields but despite the lush growth we did not get that vibrant acid yellow this time but rather a pale version. Too much rain and not enough sunshine was the verdict but we all had a good day in our friends barn and got lots of spinning done while the pots brewed.
